Direct debit provides the convenience of automatically having your bill paid via your bank account or a credit card on its due date.
You will continue to receive bills, enabling you can keep track of your consumption. The amount due will be paid on the due date of each bill, or the installment date, automatically from your nominated bank account or credit card.
A direct debit can be setup, updated, or cancelled via My Account.

Altogether only accepts direct debits from Australian bank accounts or from the following credit or debit cards:

How to setup a new direct debit
- Login to My Account.
- Under direct debit, select click here:
- Select bank account or credit card and enter the account or card details:
- Tick the box, acknowledging that you understand and agree to the direct debit:
- Choose if the direct debit is to apply to all linked accounts (if applicable) or only the current account:
How to update or cancel a direct debit
- If a direct debit exists on the account, it can be updated by clicking the pen icon:
- Delete the current payment details and enter the updated information or select a new method of direct debit payment. If you want to stop paying by direct debit, select remove, I will pay by due date
- Tick the box, acknowledging that you understand and agree to the direct debit:
- Choose if the direct debit is to apply to all linked accounts (if applicable) or only the current account:
