Receiving a higher-than-expected water bill can come as a surprise.
If you're concerned that your billed water usage is not an accurate reflection of what your household has used, completing a self test of your water meter/s can help rule out concerns with your water meter.
To complete this test, you will need access to your water meter/s and a bucket of known capacity.
If your property is supplied with both recycled and potable water:
- Gold meter: Potable (drinking) water meter
- Purple meter: Recycled water meter
